We remember that spiritual growth only happens as a result of God's work through His Word and Sacraments. People need to be in worship and in God's Word. Below are some of our small groups that facilitate growth.

Bible Studies
Meeting in the fellowship hall from 9:30 to 10:30AM.
Meeting Tuesdays at 1:30PM from September through April at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
This class is for anyone interested in becoming a member of Good Shepherd. But the class is open to all members who enjoy spending time in God’s Word. Together we will explore answers to some of the most important questions in life. The class meets for approximately ten weeks. The day and time of the class will be determined by those interested in attending. Contact the church office by phone or email to sign up.
Meeting once a month on the second Tuesday at 1:30PM in the afternoon at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Serving Teams
Some duties of our elders include: seeing that that the sanctuary and adjoining areas are prepared for worship services, assisting with the administration of the Sacraments, and assisting the Pastor in preserving and promoting the congregation's spiritual welfare
An organization of women at Good Shepherd whose purpose is to care for all activities relating to the church altar area
Lutheran Early Response Team--a network of volunteers trained to respond in times of disaster
Function as Stewards of the church's finances, the management of the church's assets and the Maintenance of God's house of worship

Other
Secret Pals is a fun ministry connecting younger people with people 80+
Cradle Roll is a ministry designed to help parents introduce Jesus as Savior to children from birth to age 4
Adventure Bible Class is designed for young readers and their parents to break the ice using the Bible in two one-hour sessions
Confirmation is a two-year program where junior high youth take a step of faith growing as disciples of Jesus
