• WELCOME BACK TO CHRYSALIS: Our first meeting will be on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Fireplace Room. Chrysalis is a widows' group, and our meetings include a devotion and planning for upcoming events and outings. Our activities are open to all and include dinners, plays, trips and more. • RIDERS NEEDED TODAY: Let Frankfort know we are here, growing with Jesus. The Sonflower float will be decorated after first service in the parking lot if you'd like to help. • LITTLE LAMBS PROGRAM: The new Little Lambs program is designed just for 2–3-year-olds. This is a fun place for your child to come and learn about Jesus through stories, songs, and crafts. Begins on Sunday, Sept. 9th from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Please arrive a few minutes early to register. Call the church office if you have questions. (815) 469-2549.
• SUNDAY ADULT BIBLE STUDY is discussing a new presentation on discipleship today. There will be no Bible study on August 25 (picnic) or September 1 (Labor Day Weekend). September 8 begins a new study: “Will the Real Jesus Please Stand Up”.

• SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL FIELD TRIP 2: "Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power" Eph 6:10. Armed with our God given shields of faith we band and bond with other believers in a fun way to help us stand firm in faith, against the devil's schemes! We will have the rare experience of watching a dairy farm in action today at 5PM. Interested in bringing your children or grandchildren? Let Christine know!
• FALL FEST PARKING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: If you are available to help park cars over Labor Day weekend please sign up on the Sign up sheet in the Narthex. This takes a group of people and we do it in shifts. Any help is appreciated.

• WELCOME TO REV. LARRY RUGER who is preaching and leading worship on Sunday and Wednesday. Join him for Sunday Adult Bible Study where he will be interviewed and you will learn about his interesting career path, among other things.
